The CityLAB of the Technologiestiftung Berlin tests the use of open source infrastructure for civil society work through the project “Digital Vereint”. As a charitable foundation we want to support Berlin players in building up their technological sovereignty. To this end, we offer thorough information, advice and workshops on this website.

“Digital Vereint” is realised with funding from the Berlin Senate ChancelleryBerlin Senate Chancellery. We are convinced that the use of open, charitable IT infrastructure will play a central role in public service in the future. Thus, we consider this offer as an experiment to learn more about the use of such infrastructure and to give feedback on our experience to the public administration.

The website „Digital Vereint“ is the result of numerous workshops and conversations with engaged people and associations of the Berlin civil society and is constantly developed with the help of its users. You can read the entire research report (in German) here.

We are open to feedback and suggestions for improvement!
